To be considered for admission to the NYU Langone Health Surgical Technology Program, applicants must provide the following information:
Applicants must possess manual dexterity, good communication skills, 20/20 or 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses, and the ability to stand for lengthy periods. You are also required to take and score well on the Allied Health Entrance Examination. All international credentials must come directly from a recognized evaluation agency.
We may conduct a background check on candidates considered for admission. Applicants who meet the criteria above and have appropriate backgrounds, examination scores, and high school grades or GED scores will be called in for a formal interview with the admissions committee before final consideration of admission. You must obtain medical clearance from NYU Langone before you can begin our program.
The current tuition for our program is $16,500 (subject to change), and certification fees are $500.
Students are required to buy their own books and white laboratory coats.
